At the Telangana–North East Connect (Phase-2) event held at Raj Bhavan, leaders, dignitaries and representatives driving national integration efforts came together to reinforce a shared commitment to inclusive and technology-driven development. The event highlighted how the North East’s rapid progress in digital literacy, IT skilling and public digital service adoption aligns seamlessly with Telangana’s own future-ready growth agenda.
Speaking at the platform, Minister D. Sridhar Babu emphasized that Telangana’s innovation-led initiatives are designed not only to advance the State’s growth but also to strengthen India’s collective technological leadership. The North East’s emerging capabilities in digital governance and skill development were acknowledged as key pillars in building a more connected, empowered and equitable nation.
The interaction also helped outline the collaborative roadmap for the North East–Telangana Tech Corridor, including:
- Joint innovation labs for emerging technologies
- Bio-incubators to accelerate biotech research and startups
- Creative tech studios to support gaming, design and digital arts
- Green-energy collaborations for sustainable development
These initiatives complement Telangana’s own innovation ecosystem built through landmark projects such as the AI Innovation Hub, AI University, AI City, the AI Data Exchange and OneBio at Genome Valley.
The event reaffirmed a strong, shared commitment to national progress by harnessing the combined strengths of Telangana and the North Eastern States. Together, these initiatives advance a unified vision of inclusive development, equitable opportunities and a technologically empowered India.
